Taiwo Akinola, 29, was on Sunday arrested for allegedly attempting to murder his mother, Mrs Alice Iyabo Akinola, for a money-making ritual. Taiwo was arrested after his nephew, Faruk, raised an alarm upon seeing his grandmother covered in blood in their home at No.2 Raji Ajanaku street, Alaja Road, Ayobo, Lagos. According to a press statement made available by the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, CSP Chike Oti, the incident happened on Sunday. The statement revealed that Taiwo, who is believed to be a cultist had wanted to take his internet fraud business to an advanced level, known as “yahoo plus” and killing his mother would have helped him achieve that. A quite beautiful newborn baby was reportedly found abandoned by her mother inside a bush. As some ladies, upon hearing the news blamed the baby daddy for not being there for his family, Facebook user CC Charger who shared the story with pictures to follow, called such women ‘witches’. CC Charger is not quite happy with people who feel that the mother of the child did the right thing by abandoning her baby. CC Charger wrote, Look at a beautiful abandoned in a bush by her mom. Some Secondary school students in the South-western part of Nigeria went berserk after finishing their final examinations in their school. Some of them were pictured sharing kisses on camera while one was seen fondling the bobs of a female colleague.
